Business First.
Technology Second.

Threshold Digital is an independent digital-transformation consulting practice, founder-led by Warren Leggett, with senior practitioners. We start with your problem — not a technology solution — and stay until it is fully operational.

[ The Thinking ]

The hard part was never the technology.

IT is a business-facing role. The technology is part of the solution, not the subject. Run IT as a business, and you are the CEO of the IT business: the financial and project discipline is its P&L, budget transparency is its reporting, total cost of ownership is its pricing, and the board and audit committee are its board.

Our founder started as a technologist at the beginning of the internet — operating systems, email, firewalls, security — then moved to the business side: applications, data, product hosting and release, reliability engineering, and the classical IT that delivers a product over the internet. The business judgment was built on top of the technical judgment, and tested in the top leadership ranks of a company: boards, audit committees, investors, auditors, lawyers and law enforcement.

Underneath all of it the work is the same: bringing order, creating consistency, seeing the patterns, establishing the standards, and seeing how things connect to each other. That is the move from chaos to clarity, and it is the same job in every domain.

Trust is built incrementally, then honored. Connect, understand the pain points inside the business, help people navigate to trusting what you say you will do — then do it. High communication, real change management, and no surprises.

[ In Their Words ]

Fully operational, in a client’s own words.

Warren’s team transformed nearly every system my organization runs on — a new omni-channel contact center experience, customer portal, Professional Services automation platform, and the data and analytics behind our CRM — all while we kept serving customers every day. It was a transformation of tools and processes at scale with little to no disruption.

Warren and his team stayed hands-on until every new platform was truly operational — not just launched.

Kathy-Anne (KAM) McManus · EVP & Chief Customer Officer, CDK Global

Warren and I partnered on everything from budget discipline to implementing a new billing system and customer billing portal — the systems the revenue actually flows through. He understands the underlying business processes across the business, not just the technology, and he ties investment to business value.

Steve Lifshatz · EVP & Chief Financial Officer, CDK Global

I worked for Warren at CDK and sought his thinking on AI-driven engineering productivity because I trust no one more to turn transformation ambition into operational reality. Warren pairs deep technical judgment with a rare talent for getting an organization to actually adopt change.

Constant learning is part of the job.

Three completed MIT xPRO AI programs, each carrying a separate award for exemplary work, published at public verification URLs. CIO leadership classes at Santa Clara University. And six-plus months building extensively with AI tooling directly — applications, automations, websites, data parsing, integrations, graphics and video pipelines.

Designing and Building AI Products and Services

MIT xPRO, July 2026. Awarded for exemplary work on the final capstone: an AI product designed to maximize short-term success while avoiding the prototype trap.

AI Strategy and Leadership: Thriving in the New World of AI

MIT xPRO, August 2026. Awarded for exemplary work exploring a leadership challenge, assessing AI’s potential, and identifying the people, processes and technologies to implement agile team-based solutions.

The operating muscles

Fourteen or more applications onto one DevOps and DevSecOps platform. Twenty-one observability applications and instances into two. Fifteen or more onto one enterprise service management platform. The practice runs production, not just strategy.

[ How We Work ]

Do What Matters!

The mantra is prioritization. The opening question is “What are your business challenges?” The promise is that we start with your problem — not a technology solution — and stay until the work is operational, not just built.
